Will there be a portal to enable the public to check TIN by keying in name or co. registration number/IC number? For GST number, we can check through TAP (Taxpayer Access Point)

General public may access to https://mytax.hasil.gov.my/ “e-Daftar” to check their TIN.  Also may apply for TIN if there is none exists. However, the Buyer may also use the QR code to access the IRBM’s MyInvois Portal to check the validity of the e-Invoice issued to the Buyer.  Anyway, under Personal Data Protection Act, we believe IRBM will restrict to only allow Buyer to access such information after proper “Sign In”.
