Descriptions:
- Manage periodical tasks like daily backups, month-end closing process, stocks taking process
- Maintaining / updating of data processing
- Provide system administration support and maintenance of in-house application system
- Carry out testing and debugging with troubleshoot database and application problems
- Provide support for in-house application system and software; include installation, configuration and troubleshooting
- Attendance to on-call, on-line, on-site support when necessary to all branches in Sabah
- Willing to travel within Branches in Sabah
Requirements:
- Degree in IT/ Computer Science or equivalent
- Preferably with 1 year of working experience in MIS/ IT field
- However fresh graduates are encouraged to apply too
- Working knowledge in relational databases & SQL, networking, data communications, Windows OS, PC hardware/software, cloud computing, and AI tools & automation.
- Possess good interpersonal & communication skill
- Must be prepared to travel outstation
Desired candidate skillsets:
- AI, Analytics & Modern Development Tools: Exposure to modern AI and productivity tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Cursor, and GitHub are an added advantage. Familiarity with Microsoft Power BI or data analytics platforms is also beneficial.
- Python, Back-End & Full Stack Development: Experience in Python programming, API integration, automation scripting, or frameworks such as Django and Flask. Exposure to full stack software development, database integration, REST APIs, and software architecture concepts is highly valued.
- Web UI/UX & Mobile App Development: Understanding of user interface and user experience design principles, with exposure to tools such as Figma, Visual Studio Code, Flutter, or React. Prior experience in mobile or web application development is an added advantage.
- Software Engineering & SDLC Knowledge: Basic understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), version control, deployment workflows, testing methodologies, and collaborative development practices is preferred.
- System & Security Knowledge: Basic knowledge of IT security practices, system hardening, cybersecurity concepts, firewall management, or endpoint protection solutions is an added advantage.
